Hush l’il Baby, Don’t Say a Word….
I need to post this idea before it rotates out of modern. When I first saw that new Hush card, my brain started storming with ideas as it’s seemed as though it was such a great card. HUSH + HUGE ANNOYING TENTICLES = the w00t! Not only that, if your opponent attacked into Hush, it would still be an exhausted character, so his ability would still trigger. The question is what exhaustion and ready effects would make this work so that we can really clear an opponents board?
Well, I haven’t even made the deck yet, and find myself busy all the time. So here is a quickie from the top of my head. Pulling out certain cards will make it fun for modern (for the few months it has left), but I feel need for speed would be an essential in silver. Here’s a quick start.
- Charaxes x4
- Hush x4
- Huge Annoying Tenticles x a lot?
- Some one drops?
- Chilly Reception x4
- Wake the devil x4
- Hunte Castle x2-3
- Into Hiding x4
- All Locked Up X4
- Duty Calls X4
- Some sort of Team-Ups x4
- Birthing Chamber x4
We want to start the action as soon as possible and Huge Annoying Tenticles are essential in exhausting their board, that is why Into Hiding is there. Again, Need For Speed to attack twice if we went to silver, but cards such as the Fate artifacts and Fate Has Spoken can still easily fit in here too. Keeping it pure modern, I thought about Marvel Defenders, but I think that it might have too much clutter.
This however desperately needs attack pumps and probably a few nasty surprises. So, what do you all think? Any suggestions for a huge, annoying deck?

Chill out needs a energy mutant so youll need one of thouse mabie a 1 drop im thinking electric eve, live wire, she has evasion so unless the opponent has finishing move effects it should stay alive for chill.(isnt chill out silver age?)
for modern i would think a good atk pump is Crushing Blow, Hush Baby. these let you keep hush face up and could ward off attack backs on your initiative
This deck looks real good, against a curve deck you get a big swing in tempo when you start removing his or her board. teaming up is a problem im coming up short on other ideas, if i think of anything else ill post again

I meant chilly reception to exhaust in case they knock off a tentacle early on. I’ll edit it accordingly. It was just from my head, without the cards in front of me.

lol i was going to say use chilly reception, blackgate prison, maximum security is a good reusable pump. v.s curve decks i think you dont need to keep that theme going after hush. 5 on you can just use normal guys(no need to keep trying to abuse the exhausted defenders)
little swarm decks might be an issue but if you using alot of team ups you can just throw in scarecrow(injustce gang)
