Gambit legend. Woo!

As upset as I am with the recent announcement that puts future Batman, Joker, and Ra’s Al Ghul support into question, I am rather happy that within the same announcement that Gambit was declared to be a legend in the next marvel set after MUN. He’s one of two X-Men characters I really like, the other being Longshot.

I can go into conspiracy theories I have such as the two sets per year were because of UDE already knowing about the DC licensing problem, but then that is highly doubtful. Even though I always prefer the DC sets as a whole, I’m still highly anticipating MUN with open arms. All the previews have been amazing thus far!

I have a feeling that Shift is going to deal with moving into different areas and energize will be an activate ability that takes place during the recovery phase or something involving ‘pitching’ cards from the deck to use an ability. Those however are just my speculations and only speculations.

If a Gambit and Longshot team-up deck is possible, I will be so ecstatic.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings abound. I know you like Gambit, but I don’t feel he has the age to be a legend. I feel that should be reserved for the classics, but that’s my opinion of flavor. Otherwise the set sounds cool.

As for the DC problem I believe UDE had to know there was a problem in advance. I just think it has to do with original art. I’m pretty sure both companies (DC/Marvel) signed on for a 10 year run.

all that out of the way, what do you think of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe?

I personally agree that Gambit doesn’t have the age to be a legend either, but since he has plenty of fans, it was bound to happen in VS. I just never expected it to be so soon.

I think the ten year run was only a Marvel Contract. Whenever it was mentioned it, DC was never spoke of. I’m just surprized how soon DC left.

As far as Mortal Kombat vs DC, it’s the first I’ve heard about it. If it’s not a 2d fighter, I probably will be uninterested. Most 3d fighters bore me and my girlfriend. Speaking of her, I think she should join Guilty Gear tournements because she is that good at that game (she even played a pro who was playing, and I quote “scrub like” and she was one hit away from winning)
